State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG) in cooperation with the National Environment Agency (AKM), has published on the National Geoportal on the topic “Environmental Monitoring Facilities”, the geospatial information for environmental monitoring for the year 2023, which includes monitoring of air, lake waters, river waters (tributaries), river waters, discharge waters, microbiological monitoring of waters, monitoring of groundwater, river waters for heavy metals and monitoring of urban noise.

These layers contain data on environmental elements that were monitored during the year 2023.

The data are in accordance with the standard approved by the Council of Ministers no. 210, dated 13.04.2023, on the approval of the document "State Standards for Technical Specifications of Geospatial Information in Albania - Topic "Environmental Monitoring Facilities".
