State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG), has created and published in the National Geoportal the geospatial data for the layer "Nomenclature 1: 50000 (Italian)" of the topic: "Geographical grid systems".

These data are created by the digitalization of the frame of topographic maps of scale 1: 50000 (Italian)”, and georeferenced in the official coordination system KRGJSH. The vector data of this layer contain the information about the name of the topographic map of scale 1: 50000 (Italian), which presents additional information for these historical maps where the date is given when these data were created and updated.

The data are in conformity with the State Standard for Technical Specifications of Geospatial Information in Albania - Topic: "Geographical grid systems".
