State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG) in cooperation with the Water Resources Management Agency (AMBU) has updated the geospatial information on the topic “Hydrography” in the National Geoportal, on the permits issued for the use of water resources by the National Council of Territory and Water (KKtTU) and the Rivers Basin Councils (KBL) for the layers:

o Construction activities on the banks,

o Use of inert materials on the banks of rivers / streams,

o Curative and thermal purposes,

o Aquaculture,

o Irrigation in agriculture,

o Industry and technology,

o Hydropower, HPPs,

o Other water uses: sanitary, washing, household sanitary, swimming pools,

o Bottling.

The updated data conforms to the state standard for technical specifications of geospatial information in Albania.
